Just finished a Turkey Hill ice cream commercial with some of the legends of slo-mo food photography. We needed 40,000 watts of light to light the set ups for the Phantom camera shooting 150 frames a second. We had to wear sunglasses and paper suits to protect against the intense light, heat and flying cream, chocolate, and fruit. I helped build some of the rigs, threw fruit with micro-second cues, and built sets for the hero product shots. There were 2 huge refrigerators and 5 freezers rented in Hill studio for the food stylists.

Building an 18th century gangplank for a documentary called "Daring Women" produced by History Making Productions in Philadelphia. Comes apart in 3 sections, adjusts to 3 heights and comfortably holds the weight of 2 people without supports in the middle.

Working on the popsicle stick inspired sneezeguard for the Franklin Fountain Ice Cream Bar- opening soon! The plywood is a stand-in for the 1/2" thick plate glass. Mahagony and Maple- two of my favorite woods to work with. Thanks to Ryan Berley for the inspiration.

The new Franklin Fountain Ice Cream Bar is coming together. These antique enameled steel panels are amazingly brittle until they are glued and screwed back on.
