POV… you got to be your own client for your wedding gown sewing business🤍

I could tell you all about how it is sewn… from the inside out… but nothing compares to how it made me feel my wedding weekend.

Big News! ✨ After years of serving beautiful brides, I am closing my bridal sewing business (for now) as I step into my own love story!

I’m getting married and moving to California!

Everyone, meet my fiancé Nate, he is extremely supportive of my sewing and business dreams and we hope to make it work again for me some day!

This journey has been incredible, and I’m so grateful for every bride who trusted me with their gown.

When Jessica first reached out to me, she inquired about adding more lace to areas of her dress.

So we partnered with the bridal shop to get her exact matching lace from her gown ordered in.

Once it came in I worked one on one with Jessica to place the lace where she preferred it be sewn on.

We also did a few other simple alterations to make her gown fit perfectly. And of course added a bustle. And steamed her gorgeous veil so it was wedding ready!

Love every moment that I get to work with my clients one on one to make sure they have their perfect gown!

Wish I had even better “before” photos of this gown.

Bride bought this dress off the floor of a bridal store in a size 14 and I altered it down to a size 2!

We had multiple fittings and I took in every seam on the top and into the skirt. Also added spaghetti straps for support. And of course a bustle for the train. We were so so happy with the results!

Some seamstresses might have turned this one away, however, if you seek out and find the right one, she will make your dreams come true for your gown!
