Visit us at Waiau Center in Pearl City on Select Tues, Thurs and Fri from 9am-1pm and on Saturday 9/19 from 12pm-4pm.

Before kids I spent a lot of times in the mountains hiking. Now as a parent I can’t help but think what if I knew what I know now about native plants. I maybe would have noticed more and appreciated the native plants around me.

As a parent now I hope that all of our Keiki can begin to see our native plants around us. Sometimes they are hard to spot but hopefully they will grow up in a world with more people wanting to plant more natives, remove invasive and everyone helping to mālama ʻāina.

Releasing this Friday 8/28 at 9am HST

A camo made of plants that grow here.
Three of them are ferns and one ties the print together. They’re all plants some gather for hula or lei and some grow in their yards. 

We chose to concept a camo design because some of these you may be more familiar with than others and be able to spot and others maybe not. Maybe some you’d only recognize once they’re in a lei, not as the actual plant.

Sometimes photoshoots get cancelled. Kids get sick, photographer unavailable, or maybe the weather isnʻt cooperating.

But we make do with what we have even if it means 5 kids with the giggles and ants in their pants.

Today my kids learned how we get the shop ready for a release.

We set up the whole showroom at the warehouse. We had to put the new prints out, hang two of every size.

And then our special guests showed up. This is a family that has been shopping with us for years and itʻs really cool the unique position I have to watch their family grow over the years.

Their kids went straight for the rack, and my kids helped them find their size.

And thats what supporting a small business like ours looks like sometimes. Our kids are sometimes there learning how to help out alongside us. We are a real ʻohana in your community wanting to share our brand with all of you.

We have started to open up our warehouse on select days in August. Weʻll announce September hours soon.

We don’t have a booth at Made in Hawaiʻi this year, so we’re bringing the weekend to you instead.

Free shipping on orders $50 and up, through Sunday. No code needed.

And 10% of online sales this weekend goes to Ulu Aʻe Learning Center. Earlier this week, they were without power since Lala. Their shade sail was damaged, a couple of their trees came down, and they held class outside all week anyway. But what really got me was how they still showed up for the kids in a week where nobody would have blamed them for closing the doors. We usually give back to them but weʻre upping it to 10% this weekend.

So shop from the couch or wherever you are 🤙🏽

I am one of those parents that is always shocked with the days the kids don’t have school. And in today’s case, my youngest didn’t have school so she came to work with me.

It’s hard to believe my youngest three all spent time with me in the warehouse. It was nice to have a little helper but having to take all the breaks to help her with her snacks or take breaks to play was a little bit of an unproductive morning but we did get all the orders packed!

Towards the end of our day she decided it was time to try on our new print that drops next week Friday in pink and another colorway. We haven’t even done photos yet, between Lala and no school and just catching up on everything, so this is the official sneak peek.

If you stop by the warehouse this Saturday, you can get it first. We will be there from 12pm to 4pm. We’re located in Waiau Center (450 Kamehameha Hwy) right next to Wholesale Unlimited. We’ll also have it out next week during warehouse hours.

While I wish I was at Made in Hawaiʻi this weekend, this is also exactly why I’m not. When life happens or there’s no school, I have the kids with me and I’m grateful that I can be.

As official as it gets!

We are finally opening the doors officially although some of you have already been making your way to our warehouse.

Signs are up, show room is ready. We just don’t have local pickup yet. You can come down and shop our warehouse on select days while we are packing online orders.

As a reminder we are cashless and accept card or contactless payment only.

Did you see our new “Open” sign?

We have some hours for the warehouse and we’re getting ready to set hour for September. Once we get regular hours we will turn on local pickups but for now we just have hours if you want to come visit us in person and see the new space.

The other days we might be open or we might not, but if you are in the area and lights and open sign are on, come on in.
