Kim wanted a machine for classes, so Jen walked her through several Bernina and Bernette models — and the Bernina 335 came out on top. Kim is thrilled with her new machine and loves all its features. In this class, students learned a facing technique to finish a wall hanging, quilt or placemats. We also taught how to hand stitch the facing with tips on a good needle choice, locking the thread and keeping your stitches invisible.

The Corded Bowl class featured our hand-dyed cord, with blues and turquoises as the most popular color choices this week. Everyone completed at least one bowl and was delighted with their newly acquired skill. It's clear that this is just the beginning of their corded creations!
