1990s N5 that had huge holes in the brim and leather was dehydrated. The helmet was stripped and rehydrated and gotten back to serviceable wear. Here what it got

• boiled linseed oil
• Treated and repaired holes and cracks
• Sanded down and primered with highgrade primer
• Epoxy applied and filled in cracks a wholes rated for 50,000 PsI
• Then painted in the beautiful candy red paint
• Then coated with a protective sealer
The customer also advised a new liner was needed and was bought and installed. Along with new NFPA reflective black tets. The helmet was brought back to looking good and the customer was highly satisfied. The helment has been placed in service and is going to work! And will last!
