To tie a Windsor knot, start by draping the necktie around your collar with the wide end on the right, extending about 12 inches below the narrow end. Cross the wide end over the narrow end, then bring it up through the loop between the collar and your tie. Next, bring the wide end down and around behind the narrow end, then pull it up through the loop again. Now, pull the wide end down through the knot in front, then tighten it by holding the narrow end and sliding the knot up. Adjust the tie as needed and .
