Want to give the kids a double dose of spooky Halloween fun? The Palafox Market’s Halloween Market is the perfect place.

Set for Saturday, Oct. 31st from 9am to 2pm, the market's Halloween activities will be located at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza on North Palafox St. and at Plaza Ferdinand's Palafox Market South. Come dressed in your favorite costume and trick or treat with participating vendors at both parks.

A free 🚎Haunted Trolley🧌 will board courageous riders from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The route includes the free Commendencia Parking Lot all the way to the free parking on Wright Street, with stops at MLK, Jr. Plaza and Plaza Ferdinand. ***The first 50 kids who ride will get a special treat!

Activities for the young, and young at heart, include:

Palafox Market North at MLK, Jr. Plaza
• Trick or treat with participating vendors
• Live music
• Keep an eye out for Winterfest’s Pumpkin Man—he’ll be walking through both parks handing out candy.

Palafox Market South at Plaza Ferdinand
• Creepy Crawly Zoo from Animal Tales from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• A Halloween Selfie Station from 9am to 2pm
• Spooky festival games happening from 9am to 2pm
• Buy a ticket and ride the mini-train! 🚂

In addition to the many special Halloween events for children, adults will appreciate browsing the more than 200 vendors at both locations selling fresh produce, baked goods, handmade crafts and local art.

Something AWESOME Is Growing…

For years, Awesometropolis has been filled with imagination, creativity, colorful characters, and so many wonderful little moments. As our business has grown, so has our vision—and now it's time for an exciting new chapter.

Awesometropolis is becoming Baby Awesome!

We're shifting our focus to the littlest members of the family, with thoughtfully handmade baby essentials that are cute, comfy, practical, and, of course, AWESOME.

But Awesometropolis isn't disappearing overnight! You'll still be able to shop Awesometropolis through the end of the year, giving you plenty of time to grab your favorite children's pretend-play items before we make the full transition to Baby Awesome.

After the end of the year, we will no longer regularly carry our children's pretend-play items at markets or online. However, many of your Awesometropolis favorites will still be available by **special order**. If there's something you loved, just reach out and ask!

We're incredibly excited about where we're headed and can't wait to share the new products, designs, and ideas we've been creating for Baby Awesome.

The name may be changing and our focus may be getting a little smaller—but we're bringing along all the creativity, quality, and personality that made Awesometropolis special.

One awesome chapter is coming to a close so an even tinier one can begin. 💛

✨ AWESOMETROPOLIS IS BACK! ✨

After a “restful” 2 weeks away from Palafox Market… we have a confession.

We may have been away from the market, but we definitely weren’t resting! 🧵✂️😂

While we were gone, we:

🧵 Sewed over 50 YARDS (150 FEET!) of custom-printed fabric

🫰 Used 550 SNAPS

🧶 Burned through over 20,000 YARDS OF THREAD

🛁 Sewed 5 YARDS (15 FEET!) of terrycloth fabric

⏰ And clocked over 132 HOURS behind the sewing machines!

Yep… apparently our idea of a vacation is just sewing somewhere other than the market. 😂

But it was worth every stitch because we’re coming back RESTOCKED and READY!
