This beaded Cross with Arctic Roses is finished and available!

Framed in an 8” x 8” shadow box. I used salmon leather for the butterfly and trimmed around the beadwork between frame is salmon leather.

I put over 115 hours into creating this, but what does that actually mean?

Here’s a breakdown of some of the “numbers”

—I measured and counted the beads in a 1” x 1” square and there are 320 beads in a square inch.

—This piece has over 15,680 beads

—It also required 200 yards of nylon bead thread, which is 600 feet

Interesting numbers to know 😀

There are Czech seed beads, Bugle beads, Miyuki beads and 24k gold plated beads around the Cross in the shaded areas.

This is some of my best work. Definitely the most beaded area.

Here’s my current project!

Featuring Arctic Roses intertwined with a Cross. I used 24k gold plated beads for the “shaded areas” of the Cross. The butterfly base is metallic lilac salmon leather embroidered with beads and crystals.

I’m currently beading the Ceylon (iridescent white) colored background. You can see the felt, and how much more I have to bead, on the left hand side.

So far, I’ve got over 100 hours of my time invested in this piece. It’s a labor of love. A lot of prayer and praise in my mind while sewing this. And prayers for the future buyer, too.

When it’s finished, it will be displayed in an 8” x 8” white wood with glass-front shadow box. I made the pattern specifically for the shadow box and the entire design and background is beaded with 11/0; 12/0 glass Czech seed beads, 11/0 Japanese Miyuki beads and 24k gold plated beads.

This will be available for purchase.

I’m not sure of the exact price yet? I have a ballpark figure, but need to do more research of other beaders’ comparable prices.

I am currently working on these slippers. I anticipate completion by the end of next week, May 8th, 2026.

There are two size options:

**Women’s size 8**
that fits 7.5 to 8

Or

**Women’s size 9**
that fits 8.5 to size 9

I will sew the beaded appliqué patterns and the fox cuffs onto either size, buyers choice.

These are hand-beaded fireweed flower design, mountain and sky.

The hard bottom slipper bases are genuine leather lined with genuine sheep shearling. The cuffs are blue fox.
