I thought I should take a minute to let people know that we cannot open the store until the city fixes the broken sewer line that is in front of the store. We reported this in October 2025 that there was a bad sewer odor, and our toilet was not flushing correctly. By Christmas things had gotten extremely worse. As of January we could not flush the toilet and the sinks were backing up so we decided we would close until after Phil and I both had some surgeries done. We also decided to take a couple trips since the sewer was not fixed. At the February city council meeting it was addressed and Josh Whisler a council member asked about the status for the 3rd or 4th time he was told by the city maintenance supervisor they needed to run a camera down it again. Mr. Whisler advised just get it fixed...we are now at March 3rd 2026 and still nothing done. We contacted Mr Whisler again and he went down to the city office and asked about the status. Soon after the Mayor called him and asked "what's your problem"...so I'm sorry to say we have NO idea when we will be back open. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I wonder if this delay for months has anything to do with Phil doing a recall on the mayor..hmmm🤔🤔🤔
