As the Founder/Owner of Saving Grace Products, LLC-- I was inspired to create these nursing covers, due to my own post-partum experience with breastfeeding. I breastfed my newborn practically every 45 minutes during the first 6 months of her life. I had the ugliest nursing cover and between that, my lingering baby weight,and the newness and insecurities I had with breastfeeding in public, I felt

absolutely vulnerable and strange. I searched for a beautiful nursing cover that was functional and beautiful, and would add a little extra sweetness to my breastfeeding experience. I was never able to find one I truly loved, so I decided that I needed to design a nursing cover that was both practical, beautiful, and convenient. Saving Grace was created to make beautiful things for women and their babies and give them an extra bit of beauty in their already beautiful and new world of being a mother. For any women who could use a little pick me up! :) All moms do! While I continued to breastfeed my daughter, I met two wonderful ladies (mothers) in Sayulita, Mexico who sew and were excited to help me make my beautiful nursing covers. I carefully selected authentic Mexican fabrics and brought my design to my new friends. Our new friendship, resulted in a welcomed new income for my new friends and their daughters, as well as seeing my vision come to life as these beautiful nursing covers were created. The best thing about these nursing covers are:
1. Plastic Band near the neck area, allows mother and baby to connect while feeding, yet protecting the baby and mother from curious onlookers ;)
3. You can use the nursing cover as a changing mat cloth
4. You can use the cover as a sunshield while baby is in your baby carrier. Very handy when out and about- strolls, hikes, etc.

It occurred to me how useful a Saving Grace is during these strange times.

In California we are ordered to shelter in place but are still allowed to exercise in the neighborhood: take walks, dog walks, ride bikes while maintaining our 6 ft distance. During this outdoor exercise, some sort of covering is optional, but not required if you maintain your distance or live in more remote/isolated areas. So if you’re one of those families that just brought a special new little one into this world and want to take a walk around your neighborhood and get some fresh air during -then try pairing your chest-facing snoozing newborn with your most comfortable contraption then add your favorite lightweight, breathable Saving Grace.
