I’m slowly letting go of my Henri Bendel pieces. Working from home, I don’t need a briefcase. So today she’s being listed. This is the Noho Briefcase in black leather.

Bendel’s closed its doors in 2019 after 123 years in business. They were best known for their iconic brown and white stripe. Their shopping bags and hat boxes became a New York status symbol in the 1960’s.

Keep an eye on my store for more HB bags. I’ll be keeping a few for myself, but most will be looking for new homes.

When I started reselling as a hobby a couple of years ago, I was completely unaware of the amount of clothing that is put into landfills each year…11.3 million tons in 2018! That amount grows every year.

These pictures are of the Goodwill Outlets (a.k.a. the bins). This is only ONE warehouse. The bins are the very last chance to rescue clothing and unwanted items before they go to the dump.

This passion project of mine now allows me to help keep our clothes, home goods, and books out of landfills and put them into the hands of someone who will give them a whole new life!

Over 20 sales shipped today. Everything from a vintage 1990’s Reebok track suit to baby swaddles. About 220 items went out the door this month. That’s a pretty great start to the year!
