When I started my store earlier this year, I never in my wildest dreams imagined I'd be doing the designs that I've been doing over the last couple weeks. It started with my husband asking if I could design a shirt as a fundraiser for my brother-in-law & his family after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. ABSOLUTELY I would & I did. Then my heart told me to do a design for the journey with the nasty "C" that myself & family have been on for the last 9 1/2 years as well as another that encompasses ALL the cancers as a whole. Then I got a request last night from someone in our family to do another design for them, their spouse was just diagnosed with lung cancer. Again, ABSOLUTELY I would & I have. These designs are hard on the heart to do because you know what the patients, families & friends that are wearing them are going through. But yet I'm also proud to be able to design them so when someone that's fighting this battle sees them, they KNOW people are thinking of them & carrying them in their hearts. It's been a little over 9 years since I was diagnosed with MTC (Medullary Thyroid Cancer). Every year, I go to see Dr. Hu @ MD Anderson Cancer Center & this last trip got me realizing something after my husband & I had some time to kill. We went into the gift shop where we noticed everything cancer related that we saw for sale was for breast cancer awareness (not by ANY means trying to minimize this at all). Being a Cancer Center, I asked myself, "What about everyone else in the battle against other cancers? Why is there nothing representing OUR fight? THEIR fight?" The timing of this also correlated with my brother-in-law just being diagnosed with a Diffuse Midline Glioma brain tumor. Given the fact that I own a shirt company, I decided to design a shirt for him as a fundraiser. At the same time, I wanted to design 2 other shirts, 1 for those of us battling thyroid cancer & the 2nd to represent ALL cancers as a whole. I named my Cancer Awareness collection "Threads of Hope" & I have put them up for sale in my store online @ https://outlaw-blood-apparel.myshopify.com

Outlaw Blood Apparel is pleased to provide this shirt and sweatshirt collection GREY STRONG as a fundraiser for Marc Wagner and his family. All proceeds from each short will be directed to the Wagner family to assist with the onslaught of financial burdens throughout his fight with brain cancer. Mac was a firefighter 9n the USAF and career emergency dispatcher for assets throughout Hamilton County and the State of Indiana. Please, if you can, assist us with this effort.
