Over the years we have become probably the best known, locally owned transmission repair shop, in the Columbus, Georgia, Phenix City, Alabama area. In 2002 Generic Transmission won a coveted “Torch Award” from the Better Business Bureau in recognition of ethics in the marketpl

ace. By 2004, our continued success made it necessary to build a much larger facility at 3835 Highway 80 West, in the Ladonia district. The Better Business Bureau awarded Generic Transmission an A-Plus rating in 2009, which has been maintained.
