I’m a mom of 2 near Philadelphia who just started sewing one day to try to cure my post-partum post-pandemic depression. And it totally worked!
In 2025, I committed to not buying any new clothing for myself for a whole year, it wasn’t so hard so I just kept going! I source all of my textiles for myself and upcycling at thrift stores, buy, sell, trade stores, through my not-so-secret online hidden gems, or through hand-me-downs! Yes even as an adult!
❤️🔥Passionate about saving the environment from textile waste and slowing the the support of fast fashion, I started upcycling clothing to give my creative side the attention it so desperately needed and do my part to raise awareness to mend-not-spend culture.
