The “Spherical UAP over AFG in and out of clouds 23 Nov 2020” is now listed by the U.S. government as a 47-second video released on May 22, 2026. According to the official entry from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, the footage was likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in November 2020.

What makes the clip compelling is the behavior shown in the edited sequence: an area of contrast appears near the clouds, moves across the frame, seems to pass in and out of cloud cover, then loses distinctiveness against the background. The government notes that the video had already been digitally altered before it was uploaded to a classified network, with segments labeled “zoomed in,” “sharpened,” “motion tracked,” “contrast enhanced,” and slowed to 60% speed.

Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp first presented this same case on WEAPONIZED in June 2025, describing it as military-filmed FLIR footage from November 23, 2020, showing a disc/spherical object “navigating through the clouds” with an apparent abrupt directional change. The government did not officially release the file until May 22, 2026 — roughly 11 months later, almost a full year after it was first shown publicly on Weaponized. That means the public saw the case through investigative reporting before the official release confirmed a government-held version of the footage.

The newly released “Syrian UAP instant acceleration” video is one of the most discussed clips in the Pentagon’s latest 2026 UAP file dump. According to the U.S. government, the footage was captured in 2021 by an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform. The clip was later uploaded to a classified network in 2024 and officially released on May 22, 2026 as part of the government’s second wave of declassified UAP materials.

What made the video go viral is the object’s apparent movement. In the infrared footage, a bright thermal signature appears to suddenly accelerate at extremely high speed, leading to the label “instant acceleration.” The Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has not publicly explained what the object is, and the case remains officially unresolved.

The footage was released alongside more than 50 additional videos and documents tied to unidentified anomalous phenomena.

The Jeremy Corbell Signed Trading Card by SAUCER depicts one of the most recognizable voices in the modern UFO/UAP investigation. As a documentary filmmaker, investigative journalist, and co-host of the WEAPONIZED Podcast alongside George Knapp, Jeremy Corbell has helped bring the UFO conversation into the digital age through film, leaked military footage, insider testimony, and relentless public pressure for transparency.

This original SAUCER Signed Trading Card captures Corbell in a bold and surreal moment— peeling back the human surface to reveal the alien truth. The artwork symbolizes the spirit of his work: exposing hidden realities, challenging official narratives, and pulling the unknown into public view.

The Pentagon released another batch of previously classified UFO/UAP files, including more than 50 videos and documents.

The new files include infrared videos showing unexplained aerial objects, including one near a plane over the Southeastern U.S. in April 2024, another labeled “Syrian UAP instant acceleration” from 2021, and a 2020 video of a sphere flying over a populated area under U.S. Central Command.

The Pentagon’s AARO admits many cases remain unresolved. One striking account from a senior U.S. intelligence officer described glowing orange-white orbs near a helicopter that later appeared to chase fighter jets, leaving the crew “virtually speechless.”

So far, the Pentagon has released more than 200 UAP-related files, with earlier records dating back to the late 1940s.
