Some people say it takes a village to raise a child. I feel the same way about P’s & Q’s. Every collection we create is a collaboration, from shaping the story to bringing it to life. When our family and friends come together to help us launch a collection, it makes the work feel even more real. My friend’s dad modeled for the studio set, my oldest brother shot the photos, and my oldest aunt helped us film the video the very next day. You cannot ask for more love than that.
This short video features my Aunt May doing her morning routine on a Sunday at FDR Park. She is that strong aunt in the family. Aunt May has faced every obstacle with strength and grace. She escaped the war in Vietnam, made the long journey to the United States, spent time living in a refugee camp in Texas under restricted conditions, and went on to raise her children while giving them every opportunity she never had. Today, she travels more, stays active, and continues to prioritize balance in her life because it has always been important to her.
Please enjoy this beautiful video of Aunt May and her morning routine. Video by Kevin Nguyen
