For my submission, I chose to go with a mountain bike helmet and goggles in an exploded, machine-like rendering.
I chose the helmet because I feel like it holds a huge part of the rider’s energy. There’s that moment when the bike is ready, you grab your helmet and goggles, put them on, and suddenly you’re in the zone. There’s excitement, anticipation, a little anxiety, and the awareness that you’re about to commit yourself to the line ahead.
I wanted to capture that moment of adrenaline, focus, and commitment before the ride begins.
All of the artwork shown is fully original, planned and created by me, and inspired by nature.

Inspiration:
My art piece is all about the magic of a bike—give those pedals a spin, and you can zoom off anywhere your imagination takes you! I got a little playful with the pedals, turning them into petals (yep, like flowers!), because why not mix a love of bikes with a love of plants? As someone who adores all things leafy and green, I think biking is the best way to roll right into nature’s embrace.
