This fall I was asked to turn a wedding dress into dolls for a woman’s granddaughters. I first made the dolls from muslin then made the outfits from her dress. Each outfit is a bit different and the dolls have yarn hair to match each girl. From the smiles, I’d say the dolls were a hit. What a special way to pass a bit of family history on to the granddaughters.

This summer I had the privilege of remaking a wedding dress that was originally worn by John’s cousin, Willian (Closson) as she married William Brown on September 3, 1944.
In June Willian’s great-granddaughter, Mackenzi wore the remade dress for her wedding.
So much love shared. I’m blessed to have had a hand in it. 💕💕
