🌈 At Wildlings, we’ve always been an inclusive toy store. That means every family who walks through our doors deserves to feel welcome, represented, safe, and celebrated.

The families in our community don’t all look the same, and that’s something we believe is worth celebrating. Whether it’s a single parent, adoptive family, foster family, grandparents raising grandkids, two moms, two dads, or anything in between, every child deserves to grow up knowing they belong and that they are loved exactly as they are.

We also know that for many LGBTQ+ kids and families, acceptance isn’t something they can always count on. That’s why representation matters. It’s why the books on our shelves matter. It’s why the conversations we have with our own children matter. And it’s why creating spaces where everyone feels safe and seen matters.

Just a boy with hands full of joy 🥹.

With the weather getting warmer, indoor play becomes a little more intentional, which makes it the perfect time to stock up on all the little things that fuel imaginations during summer break.

From little animals that roar, to sky high Connetix creations, dress-up costumes, little tea parties with friends, and everything in between, we’ve packed Wildlings with the kinds of toys that keep kids creating, exploring, and playing long after the novelty would normally wear off.

Summer doesn’t have to mean screens all day. Sometimes all it takes is a few open-ended toys and a little imagination. 💚

Summer break is here ☀️ and while we’re all for slow mornings, popsicles, and spontaneous adventures, we also know that having a few activities tucked away can be the difference between a magical afternoon and hearing “I’m bored” every 12 minutes. 😅

On our way!! We love a really good reason for a really good sale… and what better one than 602 Day? ☀️🌵

602 is one of the original Phoenix area codes, and over the years June 2nd has become a way to celebrate our city, the small businesses in it, and the community that makes Arizona feel like home.

The thing is… kids were never meant to grow up in a world this loud, busy, overstimulating, and fast moving (and neither were we).

sometimes what looks like “bad behavior” is really just a little nervous system asking for connection, safety, patience, or support. and sometimes what feels hard as parents is because we’re carrying so much ourselves, trying to hold it all together while raising tiny humans through it too.

we talk a lot about play and joy, but this is a big part of why it matters so much to us. play gives kids space to process, regulate, imagine, connect, and simply be kids in a world that asks them to grow up way too quickly.

and maybe it’s a reminder for us too… that slowing down, reconnecting, and leading with softness is important for grown ups as well 💚
