Reil Rose Boutique first fitting for New Collection “Urban Stitches.” I thought about what I wanted this collection to do, what I wanted it to bring ,and how I want people to feel while wearing my pieces.

Looking from my other videos, you guys already know that this collection will be filled with fun, bold, edgy, sexy, and sophisticated pieces for women. No these two pieces we are officially doing our first fitting with Davy.

I had a lot of fun during this fitting. She’s very professional, she listens, and pays attention to all details. One more thing bout Davy is whether you’re working or not she’s gonna make you laugh.

Now, back to the fitting. I’m really excited because EVERYTHING fit her to a T. The only alterations that I have to do is the hoodie for the cropped jacket. She loved the length of the sleeve. She left the details that the crops hoodie had and then she loved the corset top. I love when the fittings go better than what I expect.

I absolutely loved how these pieces look and move on her. Also, the colors on her skin tone is flawless. Unfortunately, the cargo jeans that I had made did not fit. They’re too small so I will be going back to create a brand new pair with a different look.

My name is Vertrell Robinson, and I’m the fashion designer for Reil Rose Boutique. We’re back with another video!!!! In this one, we are doing our third and final fitting with my homegirl Davy.

All right you guys I’m not even gonna lie with this corset, I did a lot of alterations. I took out the original ol’ school pinstripe lining, & replaced it with a gorgeous red brocade silk. The original broad cups were too big so I switched them out for a smaller size for better fit. I also did some adjustments in the back by removing a full panel or two.

Now the silver eyelets in the back of the corsets came from our local Walmart here in Phoenix. It’s a good thing. I got two packs of eyelets or else I would’ve ran out. Now…the only thing that I was upset about 😮‍💨😤 was the custom lace string that I made to match the inside of the lining turned out to be short by about 6 to 8 inches.

Other than that, the fitting went exactly how I wanted. Thank you for waiting patiently and trusting in the process.

During this process, I learned a lot more about alterations, fittings, as well as different hand sewing techniques. This project definitely gave me an eye-opener on corset construction, fit, and patience.

I had so much fun with this project, i’m excited to say that I have decided to make more custom T-shirt corsets. This corset was NOT premade.

My new line “Urban Stitches” is officially in the production stage with Reil Rose Boutique. It’s an all denim collection that will include about 10 full head to toe looks.

In order for these garments to work together, I had to strategize and plan what I wanted to showcase. Growing up during the 90’s era in San Diego, CA I saw ALOT of what I call “Attitude” that was put into what people wore. Most of it during that time was denim on denim, as well as layering of clothing and color blocking.

This mini promotional commercial is just a small snippet of what I am creating, will be creating, finished creating and or in the process of creating clothing wise.

I would also love to say thank you to Face’s Inc. 💎 for giving me the opportunity to showcase my work for the first time in an upcoming fashion show that will be happening October 2026 in The Valley of the Sun. Please keep in mind there will also be other designers that will be featured in the show.

In this video, I am creating my very first red dress. I have always wanted to do a nice elegant bold red mermaid dress. I didn’t want a friend slip because the color red is already sexy, so I did not want to over sexualize this at all. I wanted to stay pulled nice, elegant with a small vintage look to it. No I’m not saying a slit is not classy. I love a nice high slit however, I feel like it wasn’t necessary with this one. In the next video, you will see the appliqué being added to the bodice and back of the dress, as well as the lace trim being added to the bottom of the skirt for more OOMPH and of course style So stay tuned. This dress came out exactly how I wanted it plus more. The corset was a little tricky however it was worth every single learning curve. The detail is everything.

Those gorgeous beauty is modeling one of my dresses that I had made from a vision. At the time of making this, I know where we was going at all however it turned out really beautiful, unique and different. With all that said it is still telling a beautiful story.
