OK, you guys I am back with another video and I am so excited for you guys to see this. For those who have been following me on my journey, I definitely want to say thank you for believing in me and being patient while I was going through my health situations.

We have officially completed “PEARL!!!” there is two piece is stunning. I took my time on the lace placement, I stitched the lace down in every single spot. It won’t shift and or droop. The floral petals around the bust area were also hand placed.

My rainbow denim sets are officially complete!!! I love me making these outfits, I was able to freestyle with the selected patterns.

Also, I’ve made numerous garments for one of my clients so she knows how I work and the trust is definitely still there. I just love hearing when a client says I trust you. Just make it happen. Jazmine Johnson Erin Johnson thank you guys and I love ya’ll sooo much for trusting me with this process. I had a blast!!!

I had a lot of fun making these jeans. A little backstory for ya’ll. Remember the other rainbow set that I created the other day. Weeeeeeeell, Jazmine Johnson wasn’t the only one cussing me out and unplugging my damn sewing machine. There was another culprit that was right there with her. Mmmhmmm, that’s right, her wife was right along with her. Looking back we have more than enough good laughable memories.

Okay, so I didn’t necessarily go off the pattern precisely, I did do some alterations regarding pocket placement, adding belt loops to the waistband, etc.

Now, I’ve made some beautiful jeans when I first started sewing but none of them compare to the rainbow jeans. This beauty took me 8 hrs to complete because of the detail. I wanted a nice crisp, clean look. I serged each piece on my Singer heavy duty serger (literally everything).

I sewed to panels together at a time, went back to topstitch, then proceeded to the next panels. All of the pockets and flaps also have topstitching detail. I used a very nice red denim zipper to uphold the colorblock look.

I had already completed the halter off camera. At this time I’m waiting for the bra clasp to arrive so it can be installed.

In this video, I am making a two-piece rainbow fringe denim set for my amazing and talented best friend Jazmine Johnson

I used to make things for her all the time and honestly, I miss it because she is definitely not scared of colors. She used to bring me some off-the-wall scarves and pieces that she wanted me to alter or turn into something else you guys and everything that I did for her always turned out 🔥🔥🔥.

This woman has seen the blood sweat and tears that I have put into this business. She was with me when I purchased my first sewing machine. She would come in and UNPLUG my machine while I was in the middle of projects when I was a high risk pregnancy.

I miss creating for her, so I went ahead and came up with something not to only show my appreciation, but to also show what our friendship means to me. If it wasn’t for her pushing me and cussing me tf out EVERYDAY (literally). I wouldn’t be still be sewing.

Now, back to what we’re working on in the video. We used simplicity 1426 which is a 1950’s vintage halter sewing pattern that comes with four different variations of the halter top.

No, as far as the skirt, I thought that I had recorded this process, but unfortunately I did not. I was not in a rush in completing this set at all whatsoever, I definitely took my time because I wanted no mistakes at all. Now, I will be creating another piece to go with this ass, but I can’t stay what it is due to it being a surprise.
