Recently I’ve been working on some things behind the scenes to bring in and sell even more vintage clothing, some higher end pieces, and more avenues to get it to all of you! I’ve loved fashion and vintage my whole life, and I’m SO grateful that I get to do this as my job. Thank you to everyone who has supported my lil passion over the last 15 years.
Most of you don’t know this, but Weekend Salvage started out as “Hells Bells Vintage” back in 2011 as a tiny little Etsy shop. The first item I ever sold was a 1960s men’s wool cardigan. At the time, I did NOT know how to write a good item description, so what I described as “in excellent condition” was in fact, not in excellent condition. The customer knew it was my first ever sale and gave me a 5 star review, but did let me know about the multiple moth holes I failed to mention. 😂 Thank you to that woman for my first lesson in online sales. I’ve learned so much over the years, a lot through trial and error, and I look forward to continue learning doing the thing I love most.
