Last night Picayune put on her party clothes and strutted her stuff! The street were magical with hundreds of luminaries lining the streets, Christmas lights were lit and even golf carts met the challenge of being festive. Thank you to City Management, The Police and Fire Department, Main Street Association and the merchants, for making this possible. But mostly THANK YOU to those who came out to participate in this celebration! Picayune was in the spot light last night and did us proud!!

Those that attended the November meeting certainly had a treat!! A complete meal provided by Consignment Furniture (including no-bake fruitcake) Sheila, you make the BEST potato salad EVER!! Also a free mini health screening, compliments of Any Lab Test Now. (Some of us have a little more fat content, than others.) Up dates from Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Association and City Management! I love when things come together and work for a common goal.
So lets get our contest started, Christmas Store Front Decorations and outdoor scenes. Details will be forthcoming next week. Thanks to all of you for your participation, we can make Picayune a DESTINATION not an off ramp of I-59.
