Designs by Mari Hi my name is Mari and I am the seamstress, Designer of many,items I love what I do. It is my passion I have also had experience in mending sleeves.

My passion for sewing was instilled in me by my mother, who worked for Ratner corporation in San Diego. At a young age, I was taught to do simple hand sewing and later moving on to the ever popular Singer machine. Being the female counterpart of a tailor, I have over 30 years of hands-on experience in working with a variety of fabrics. I am able to create/design my own sewing patterns, embellish a

nd mend. I have had experience in fashion design, costume creation and design, bridal party design and children design. My experience also includes home interior design and home interior creations, alterations and mending (pillows, curtains, spreads, slipcovers, etc.) My experience in alternations includes: hemming dresses, skirts and pants, as well as inseam adjustments and other common alterations and repairs. I would consider myself to be a perfectionist seamstress. Providing such services is a type of customer service, and I am able to identify needs and resolve issues. I take pride in what I do, and I strive to give the best. I am a talented gifted person as told by many, still waiting to see what will happen with my creativity hoping something soon, This is my year that I am hoping that I can make something out of it, Only God knows why he has given me this creativity only and will show me what to do with it, it is never to late to succeed, I thank all my family and friends for all there support especially my Daughter Marissa that pushes me everyday to do better ..I thank my sister Gloria who I love so much for being there for me telling me I can do this ! and for my friends for admiring me, It has not been easy to start all over again after moving back from Florida, thanks to my daughter Marissa who has created my website and is falling in my shoes with her own creativity I thank god for giving me my two beautiful girls who are amazingly talented as well with there artists gifts...Thank You Lord
