Leathercraft class!
Interested in learning leather work?
Come learn leather crafting skills from professional leathercrafter
KelC Nordvold.
This class will feature step by step process of how to add customized tooled leather to footwear.
This class will feature "Hey Dudes" shoes with a simple natural color western floral design.
Make them for yourself or as a gift.
This is a 4 session class for the month of September on Mondays, starting Monday September 5th, at 6pm each class will be 1 hour long.
In the first session we will begin with the basics of how to draw a simple design and how to transfer your design or any design on leather.
The following sessions will consist of tooling the leather and stitching the leatherwork on to the footwear.
No leather work experience necessary. No tools necessary. If you have any leather tooling tools bring them. If you don't have any we will have some available for you to use and to purchase.
We will build and finish one side completely in the 4 week sessions.
After this class you will be able to build this style of customized footwear on your own for your friends and family. Dream up and produce your own designs to make them custom to those who you build them for.
