Thanks so much, Piketon! I had a great time at the Uptown Market this morning outside of The Village Brew Coffee House. It was just me and Kaci’s Kottage today, but the weather was perfect, got to cheer on some 5K runners and talk to lots of people (some old friends, too!) and share the unsold goodies with the police department.

Almost ready for the Jackson Sidewalk Market! Tonight’s vintage menu:

Blueberry Buckle - good as a dessert, even better with coffee

Chocolate Joy Cake - my sweet Grams’ chocolate cake recipe - also called a Texas sheet cake

Italian Cream Cake - a southern recipe with toasted coconut and pecans in a rich vanilla cake with a tangy frosting

I’ll be in Area 8 near the car show with a blue and white table cloth.

Insta has become my BFF lately. My apologies for neglecting this side of the tribe. I’m working on making it up to you!

It’s been a busy year or so diving into in-person markets with all the lovely things I’ve been picking up lately. Found a dealer buddy. Selling in Louisville enough that an event organizer now recognizes me in other places. Oh! And a new logo is coming from the super talented

This summer is looking to be just as busy - with a twist. All the vintagey goodness is coming to the Jackson Sidewalk Market in June, introducing Atomic Town Eats with some of my favorite treats from my Grams’ recipe box. Do you have any favorite vintage recipes? Drop them in the comments and they may make an appearance in an upcoming local market.
