*Vulnerable post warning*
LRT has felt heavy lately.
Really all of this year honestly.
November marks five years of my life in this business, and sometimes I question what for.
What or why did god set me on this path.
I’ve met countless families that love our gear.
But on the flip side I’ve met countless challenges along the way.
I know I’m not the only business owner that’s felt this.
I’m not even the only business owner who feels this in this exact moment.
I think I’m just tired of feeling heavy.
Wasted money on Facebook ads.
Countless hours of content to get minimal views.
UGC requests as if I have any budget.
Scammers.
Lawsuits.
I’m tired guys.
Tired of feeling heavy.
I keep having these waves of wanting to give up and move on, but then I question what my kids would think.
How do I explain that when this is really all they’ve known for five years.
Jaxon was four months old when we launched and now he’s in Kindergarten.
I don’t know if it’s shame for getting to the level I have and being stuck or the constant grind.
I’m a marathon runner and crossfitter that didn’t realize I had mastitis for 24 hours so you’d think I have some tolerance for pain. 🤣
But I think behind the grind it’s just so much more mentally to run a business, especially e-commerce, than anyone can even prepare you for.
If you know a small business owner check in on them today.
Ask them how they’re doing and how you can help them.
They’re probably fighting battles you don’t know about and can’t even imagine, while sherry is emailing about how ridiculous it is that her product took longer than two days to ship across the country.
(I tried to add some sarcasm in there for yall). 😅
