Another couple of weeks, another quilt block, done ✅ !

Today is the Eleventh block in the Fat Quarters by the Dozen book by It's Sew Emma quilt along—the Majestic quilt blocks Kimberly Jolly & the FQS team . This Fairy dust print by Tula Pink is one of my favorite low volumes and the fog color is just perfect! The little Puffins are adorable, and I tried to showcase at least one of the cute little birds 🐧.

There are two of these blocks this week, and I’ve already stitched them together, as they’ll appear in the finished Fat Quarters day the Dozen QAL quilt top. Just a few more blocks to go, and we’ll be ready to stitch our tops together 👏

I’m still loving my fabric pull for this quilt along and I really like the Tula Pink solid in Aegean as my background fabric. This solid will forever be my favorite color to work with. Paired with tiny dots and Grayworks, it’s a winning combination ❤️.

Rainbow Stripe kits update:

I have just one fabric kit for the rainbow stripe version of Enigma EPP left in my shop. I’m out of fabric to cut these and am waiting for my shipment of more to arrive ⭐️.

Fabric kits are listed under the regular Enigma EPP pattern listing in my shop, it’s just an option in the drop down menu 😉

I love the perfect balance of bright colors and black and white…and the “fussy” cutting on this version goes so fast!

Whew, we are getting close to the finish line on this sew along 🎉!

The last time I participated in a sew/ quilt along was about 5 years ago, so I’ve really had to plan my time to schedule this one—especially during the month of May (school wrapping up, and everything that goes along with that just about kicked my rear 🤣), but I am so glad I’m doing it and keeping up! This is going to be such a fun quilt at the end 🥳.

Today is the Tenth 🔟 block in the Fat Quarters by the Dozen book by quilt along—the Luminary quilt block .

I’m still loving my fabric pull for this quilt along and I really like the solid in Aegean as my background fabric. This solid will forever be my favorite color to work with. Paired with tiny dots and Grayworks, it’s a winning combination ❤️.

Well, that went fast 🤣. So, good news/bad news.

GOOD NEWS: Yall LOVE the rainbow stripe version of Enigma EPP

BAD NEWS: I am already sold out of all the rainbow stripe fabric kits.

MORE GOOD NEWS: I’m not out of fabric and can cut more but it will take me a hot minute because these are very labor intensive kits to cut. Please be patient with me. If you want to make sure you snag one, send me an email [email protected] or DM me and I’ll email you when I’ve got them cut (before I let everyone know they’re available again).

Finally got these gorgeous RAINBOW / STRIPE fabric kits cut. These take FOREVER to cut 🤣.

I made this version as an after thought, once I finished my first Enigma EPP quilt, and I thought, hey…I bet a rainbow stripey version would be rad. Go figure I’ve gotten more dms and emails about offering a fabric kit for this than I ever dreamed 😆.

So, anyway, I do took what y’all say to heart and I think you’re going to absolutely adore this kit I’ve put together for you.

The best part about this kit is that you can batch cut the fabrics, with the exception of the fussy cut stripes, so you can literally cut out an ENTIRE English paper pieced quilt in one afternoon 🤯 .

Today is the Ninth 9️⃣ block in the Fat Quarters by the Dozen book by quilt along—the Halo quilt block .

I really wanted to incorporate some fussy cut animals peeking out of the block and I love how that turned out!

I’m still loving my fabric pull for this quilt along and I really like the solid in Aegean as my background fabric. Paired with tiny dots and Grayworks, it’s a winning combination ❤️.

Happy Friday friends!! I’m doing some fun picture things today and quilting up a storm! (Also, this song popped up in suggested audio and I bet it’s been 20 years since I heard this 🎶)

I’m still stitching up my last Enigma EPP sample before I launch the pattern and kits, should be done soon 🤞. This one is done, but the multicolor striped version is the one I’m working on and I bet I can get it done this weekend. All solids are for an extra special POP of color 💥

Every year, I tend to forget that the month of May is a doozie and just about takes me out…but then I go ahead and try to squeeze extra stuff (like three teacher appreciation quilts 🤪) and really overestimate myself.

Hang in there, y’all. Enigma EPP will be ready soon!

Today is the EIGHTH 8️⃣ block in the Fat Quarters by the Dozen quilt along—the Gardenia 🌺 quilt block .

I love the Tiny Dots paired with Aegean as a solid. A simple block that packs a big punch.

I’m pretty happy with my fabric selection for this quilt along and I can’t wait to see all the blocks finished and in a quilt top 🖤

I love getting to see what makes. Every time she brings me a quilt for quilting, I’m blow away! Christa wanted custom quilting for this one, and so I combined ruler work with some free motion quilting on those gorgeous little stars. cuddle in Amethyst to make the quilting on the back REALLY pop!

Thread color is Monarch and batting is Bamboo

My Trippy Triangles popped up in my feed from 6 years ago today. This was my first “official” English Paper Piecing pattern, and it was an absolute delight. (I was just a baby EPP designer back then LOL!).

I really LOVE EPP with solids, almost as much as I love the kaleidoscopic effect you get with prints 🖤. And I REALLY love it when stripes are thrown in the mix 🦓

This color way was my second version (and it’s still folded up in my “to be quilted” pile 🫣) and went together SO fast. I used Cotton Couture for the solids and MM for the 1/8” stripes. It really makes such a difference when you can stack and cut we pieces at once for solid colored fabrics, vs. painstakingly fussy cutting each piece. And don’t even get started in the glue basting. Literally quick as lightning ⚡️.
