This was taken a few months back on our last weekend in the store. Now, Sawyer is just about 2 weeks from turning 1!

Today, we cleared what was left upstairs and just have a couple loads left in the basement of bigger items.

It’s so very bittersweet. I miss y’all so much, but I can’t say I regret staying home with Sawyer everyday, watching life through her eyes, giving her my 100% attention, being able to visit Grandma and Grandpa and going places in the middle of the day, staying home with her when she’s been sick and needing neb treatments 4 times a day without feeling guilty of leaving the store.

The store was my first baby. I built it from the ground up and got to meet so many incredible people. I got to grow myself; learn who I was and what I stood for. I’ll always miss it and have a very big place in my heart for it. But I’m not missing the moments with my family. I waited so long for this.

The shelves are home to a familiar maker in the shop and we hope it serves them as well as it did us. ❤️

We have some more stuff to sell, so keep watching. I’m hoping to have everything out of my house by Christmas 🤞🏻 😆

As always, support small and local. In the last few months since closing, we’ve watched a lot of our friends and regional makers pull out of selling in shops or close up shop in general because of burn out or a shift in how people shop. Inflation is also hard on consumers and businesses, getting product to make product, keeping up and making even a penny is difficult sometimes too. So be sure as you shop in the next few months, to shop small. A little means a lot.
