Friendly Reminder: Business Hours 💕

Just a quick reminder that Gear & Gowns’ regular business hours are:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
🕛 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Closed Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays

Messages, calls, and appointment requests received outside of business hours will be answered during my next scheduled business day. I know it’s easy to send a message whenever something pops into your head—and you’re absolutely welcome to do so! Just please don’t expect an immediate response outside of business hours.

As a small business owner, my time away from the studio is important too, and keeping set hours helps me give every client and project the attention it deserves when I’m working.

A little behind-the-scenes look at the custom process ✂️🧵
Currently working on the mockup stage of a custom garment! Before cutting into the final fabric, I draft and adjust the pattern, create a mockup, and test the fit and construction to make sure everything is sitting exactly where it should.
Custom sewing is a whole lot of measuring, patterning, pinning, adjusting, and problem solving before the pretty final piece ever makes it to the sewing machine. 💜

Decided I was feeling audacious today and taught myself how to make a fitted barstool seat cover.
