Well I'm back ....kinda....from my hiatus. I ended up just taking July off and it was much needed. I am organizing and updating my sewing space currently from the wreckage of the past year. I also got a lot of reflection time in and realized I'm off course a bit. My mindset has been "sew all the things" and also has been my downfall. So moving forward, repair work is going to be accepted on a limited basis to fill my free time as a no deadline stress free project. There will be more focus on one of a kind pieces, costumes, and the RTW aerial pieces ( that keeps getting pushed off my plate.😖) That being said my schedule is full until Nov 1, 2018 with the above and confirmed work already in my queue. Thanks! 😄

Just a quick update since I had some inquires. I am not taking on any additional new projects or repairs for July. I will be playing catch up on projects and giving myself a little break from sewing. Also, two spots have been filled for October costumes. I think I will be only accepting two more projects for October as a heads up. Thanks!

I just listed one of my fairy costumes for sale. I have a few other pieces posted that would love to find new events to be worn to!

Fall Fairy hi-low gown in chocolate wedding satin lined in complimentary fabric. Grosgrain ribbon under bust. Bodice has metallic gold, gold and glitter brown tulle and organza petals pinned and tucked down. Dress bottom has 2 layers of tulle between top and bottom organza layers

This is something a little different for me and was challenging working in this tiny scale. You have to try everything once right? But I am pleased with my recreation of a communion dress for American Girl doll.

I will not admit how many plastic storage totes hold my fabric stash, but I will tell you one is dedicated to pleather and that makes me very happy. Time to make more straps!

I have different work in progress on all three of my dress forms. I am thinking I may want to invest in another adult one. But I definitely want a kids form asap! Now the question is, do I make the kids one or continue the hunt for one on sale? Decisions, decisions 🤔
