While you can just go to your local tire shop and get whatever they recommend or just match the OEM provided tires, that doesn’t always mean that you are getting the Best Tire or the Best Deal…

All Season, Summer, Winter, Eco/Green Tires. Speed Rating, Tread Depth, Mileage Warranty, tread patterns, temperature ratings, production dates, sizing, etc.

What does the resonator delete even do?

The resonator is a heavy muffler that hides the exotic VR6 sound! The VW VR6 engine has had a cult following since it came out back in the late 90’s.

When it came out, it was an engineering marvel, because it managed to squeeze 6 cylinders underneath one cylinder head and valve cover, vs 2, which made it cheaper to make and service plus small enough to fit inside the engine bay of smaller cars like the Golf/GTI.

I purchased this Resonator delete from ECS Tuning with my own money. This has been the best bang for the $$ Sound improvement.

The intake alone will get you some awesome "Wookie" sounds, but removing the resonator, changes the game! If I were to only be able to do 1 mod, I would choose the resonator delete.
