Fizzpop was born as I was shopping around for holiday gifts for some incredible friends of mine. These women as tough as hell. They are activists, feminists, heroic ladies who champion values like loving one another unconditionally, never judging others, smashing up the patriarchy, keeping the earth clean & tidy, and laughing a whole lot. Instead of purchasing some art, I decided to make my own. I have a BA in sculpture, and a minor in gender studies (anthropology) and it was time I put those skills into good use.

Flash forward just a few weeks after I've begun drawing. In between the daily catcalls, work harassment, and other trials of just trying to go to the grocery store and buy toothpaste like every other human being on the planet, I received a Craigslist missed connection. The ad itself wasn't impolite, and described me to a T. But the poor gent who wrote it, finished his saga, and signed "Stay Gold." Honestly do people actually say that? And thus Fizzpop was branded, and sold.

Since then Fizzpop has developed in one of the most exciting adventures I've taken on. Fizzpop is an unapologetic & subversive pop-culture accessory brand. So far I'm making pins and patches, but I have plans to soon grow to offer y'all lots of sassy and silly products. Fizzpop is about ending stigma, loving our bodies, and smashing the patriarchy.
