4 months ago today Mike left us after many years of struggling with diabetes and heart disease. He went peacefully at home and spent his last days surrounded by family and friends. I haven't posted it prior to this, but wanted our followers to know why we've slowed down, stopped showing and are posting infrequently. Mike was the lighting guy, the clock guy, the sanding guy and my superhero, as well as my loving partner in Quirk and for 40+ years in life. Tim, our oldest son, has worked with us for several years and is continuing to work with me. Thank you to all who have purchased from us, liked our posts and just stopped by to see our booths.

We've been quiet for a while - and we're winding down our business, but we have a number of Hummel figurines available for $12 each. Many are dated and signed. Add to your (or someone you love's) collection!

Visiting Charlottesville for a family wedding. Spending today looking around all the fun shops and thrift stores We're supposed to be cutting back on inventory since we're not doing shows, but it's SO hard to not see potential projects in everything!

Finished it up last night - love the color! Fusion Hazelwood. Kept going and did Mike's desk too! And found these great new k***s.

Taking some time to do a project for our house. I've had this blue Ikea dresser as a buffet (and holder of paints, sandpaper, etc 🙂) for a long time. But then we made the TV dog bed using Fusion's new color, Hazelwood.

I'm not sure if it's my new favorite color or just my favorite of the new colors, but I fell in love. So my buffet is getting a makeover! You can see the top already looks great.

After 5 years, Quirk is folding up our tent. Although we will still do custom pieces and an occasional online sale, this is our last show. We are at the neighborhood flea, down on Railroad St. until 3:00 today. Come say hello. And we have lots of bargains to be had. The. Neighborhood Flea 2021 Season
