Let your clothes reflect that same beauty in all that exists. thegutterfly.com What does "Gutterfly" mean? This name was created for two distinct reasons. First, it references the butterfly- a creature that undergoes a complete metamorphosis, becoming something inspiring and amazing. We too, can find that change- becoming something new, better, and inspiring. I use the term "gutter" to represent t

hat we all begin at the bottom. In the gutter. All greatness stems from modest beginnings. This clothing line uses ideas inspired by the sacred geometric centers that form all life to demonstrate a radiating growth and evolution that exists in all things. Second, I use this name as a personal reminder of where I began. Only 5 years ago, I had nothing to my name. A backpack filled with essentials was my companion as I traveled this country, in search of something but never feeling like I had found my home. I arrived in Pittsburgh, PA and began to find something more for my life. I built this brand with less than a thousand dollars to start with. I had a dream, and I had my artwork. I knew that I would not give up until I created what I had always envisioned- a brand that focuses on the patterns that guide us towards the answers of the Universe. And no matter how successful this brand may become, I never want to lose sight of where I came from. The gutter. Nothingness. But if I can grow from there, anyone can. And that's the message I want to spread.
