✨ Looking Ahead to What’s Possible ✨
Kindling is still in its early stages — an idea taking shape, a space being prepared, a spark waiting to catch.
But the heart of it is already very clear.
In the year ahead, my hope is that Kindling becomes a place where people feel brave enough to try. A place for ideas that are still forming, dreams that feel exciting and scary, and businesses that just need a little room to grow before taking a bigger leap.
If 2026 is the year you want to say “this is the year I finally try,” I hope Kindling can play even a small part in that journey, by offering space, encouragement, and a gentle first step forward.
It’s not fully built yet, but the intention is strong:
to create opportunity, to support growth, and to remind people that you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
Here’s to new beginnings, quiet courage, and becoming who we’re meant to be, one small spark at a time. 🔥

I’ve been feeling a quiet pull to create spaces like that... Warm, honest, hopeful. Not loud. Not rushed. Just real, full of dreams & support. ❤

🌿 Why Kindling Means So Much to Me

I’ve been reflecting on why this little dream has taken hold so deeply… and it’s because of my own winding path into small business.

Before I ever had a space of my own, I was lucky enough to have people who believed in me — especially Belinda at the quilt shop, the very first place I ever consigned my items. She gave me a shelf, encouragement, and a place to start when I had no idea where my ideas might lead. I’ll always be grateful for that support.

But even with those early opportunities, stepping into a full brick-and-mortar was still overwhelming. I had passion, but I didn’t have a space of my own to practice, to test a concept, to experiment without huge risk, or to learn what worked and what didn’t before signing a long-term lease or purchasing a whole building and figuring everything out the hard way.

That gap — between having a spark and having a place to grow it — is where Kindling was born.

Kindling is meant to be:
✨ a warm, beautiful, accessible space where creativity feels possible
✨ a stepping stone between “I have an idea” and “I’m ready for my own place”
✨ a gentle launchpad for the nervous, excited, brave dreamer
✨ a home for people who just need one month to try, test, or grow

I want Kindling to be the space where someone can say,
“I don’t know exactly what I’m doing yet… but I’m ready to start.”

Because I know firsthand how powerful it is when someone gives you that first chance, and how much easier it is to thrive when you’re not doing it alone.

If you’ve got an idea tugging at you, or a dream you’re ready to test… Kindling is for you.
And I can’t wait to see what sparks to life here. 💖
