It’s always a joy and a pleasure to make a memory quilt for someone. This time it was a gift for a high school grad that was active in music and sports activities at her high school. Her Mom saved all of her shirts and as a surprise had me make a quilt to commemorate her fun and festive years at Bristol Central High School in Bristol CT. If you have clothing from a loved one that you have saved and are interested in having them made into a quilt I would be honored to do that for you. I just finished my newest collection of the panda cuddle family of animal dolls made in soft sculpture. The pattern is by Australian artist, Lisa Pay. They were easy to make and came together quite nicely. I make numerous bodies to keep on hand and find it easy to make the different heads as desired.
