Update on classes this summer: For all retirees and third shifters - We are offering day classes at the College of Lake County. Two Beginning Sewing starting June 3rd 9 - 2 for 6 weeks and June 8th 10-1 for 6 weeks. These Classes are in the University Building and must have 6 slots filled for the classes to go. So if you and your friends want to learn to sew or touch up on your skills while enjoying the company and friendship of other students - this is the place to be. Advanced Sewing will also be offered in the mornings July 13th 9-12. For the first time, we are offering the quilting class at the Southlake Campus (Vernon Hills) This class starts July 9th. Some of you have asked for baby quilt classes, this is a place to learn the basics! The popular alteration class: Buttonholes Zippers and Hems will also be offered this summer - the only evening class starting July 13th. This class helps you build the confidence of tackling those alteration tasks that you have been putting off. The last couple of days will be spent on your specific alterations! Moving on: At Sew n' Save in Racine I will be teaching the Camp Shirt class - June 5, 12, and 26th. So a full summer in scheduled, come join in the fun and as always private classes are available for you, your child/preteen or a group of friends!!
