🐶 Help us build our dog food selection! 🐾

We’re deciding which dog food brands and formulas to carry at our new store in Jourdanton, and we want your input!

We currently offer Fromm, Diamond, Victor, Hill’s Science Diet, Hi-Point, and Next Level at our Pleasanton location, and we plan to continue carrying these brands after the move. We’re also excited to announce that we’ve been approved to carry Purina Pro Plan and hope to have it in stock within the next couple of weeks!

We know the dog food market is extremely competitive and that big box stores have aisles and aisles of options. We also hear how much many of you dislike making a separate trip to those stores, so we’re going to do our best to save you that trip!

Keep in mind that there are thousands of dog food formulas available, and we only have a limited amount of space. Many brands are also private label products made exclusively for big box stores. However, if a particular brand and formula is repeatedly mentioned, we’ll seriously consider adding it to our selection if it’s available to us.

Pictured is Stone! 🐾 He eats Fromm Four Star Lamb & Lentil and we buy the 26lb bag. He was previously eating another “high end” dog food but constantly struggled with digestive issues. He switched to Fromm about five months ago and hasn’t had a single issue since!

Both Primo’s Feed locations will be closed on Labor Day so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families.

Football season is here, and we’ve got your Game Day gear ready to go!

Stop by Primo’s Feed in Jourdanton and check out our Game Day display packed with everything you need to show your school spirit and get ready to support your favorite team!

All of the feed, animal health, stock show, and hunting supplies are still available at our Pleasanton location.

Our Jourdanton location is currently open with hardware, our new and improved women’s department, and a selection of some new men’s apparel brands!

Thank you for sticking with us during the transition — we’re excited for you to see everything coming together in Jourdanton!

We are still learning the full details of a devastating incident at the Somerset ISD School Ag Barn. At this time, it appears that approximately 20 show pigs, sheep, and goats have died or been seriously injured.

Several families have suffered an unimaginable loss and will need our community's support. Although monetary donations cannot undo what happened, they can help ease the financial burden and allow affected families to purchase new livestock while there is still time for the winter and spring show season.

A GoFundMe has been created, and the money raised will go directly to the affected families. The donation link is below.

Those who prefer not to donate through GoFundMe may contribute by card, cash, or check at the store. Donations can be made in person or by calling 830-569-0080 to pay by credit card over the phone.

Please keep the students, families, and everyone affected by this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers, and please share this post to help spread the word.

We also wanted to give everyone a quick update on the new store in Jourdanton!

💻 We’re getting closer to having the cash registers up and running, which means we’ll soon be able to start selling some products from the new location!

In the meantime, our Pleasanton location is still OPEN with our full selection and will remain open until the new store in Jourdanton is finished.
