Well after an eventful December with tools breaking and orders being lost in the mail we are back up and at it. Our new long oval hat stretcher works like a dream so if your hat is feeling a little tight 25 bucks gets it stretched back out and fitting perfect we can now stretch up to an 8 1/2. Its more than a hat.

While I enjoy building new hats my favorite is rebuilding old hats. This hat here was the very first “real” cowboy hat I got. It is a 3X Justin that my dad bought for me when I was 12. I was over at his place last year I found this on a hat rack in my old room and brought it home. I gave it to my son but as you can see it was not in any shape to be worn. Last week I decided that I would rebuild it and now that he is 12 give it to him again. My hope is that he will take care of it and pass it down one of his kids around the time that they are 12. It’s important to remember when buying a hat while at the time it could be just another hat in 23 years it could become an heirloom. If you have an old hat that needs new life I would love to bring it back for you. “I know all the hats that I have posted have the same crown but I can do other shapes. I am just lucky enough my son wants to be like his dad.”
