🇺🇸 The US is getting all swept up in soccer fever again, and it’s kind of a big deal! ⚽️

The big reveal - I worked with local artist, art teacher, dad and soccer coach, Kent Archer, to create a Team USA shirt that captures the essence of competition and everything that goes with it - unrelenting focus, dedication, glory and failure.

That our kids might continue to dream and move in the direction of things that make them feel alive!! 🥂 (and you too!)

🚨 0-3 mo onesies - Adult 2XL are available for purchase now and will be available to shop or pick-up in our Plymouth shop on Friday (7.3).

We interrupt your sweet Sunday soundscape with the spirit of endless competition embodied by my middle, Henry Rowe. He joined me at the store for a few hours this week. I asked him to curate a kid-approved table (he is 7), and this is what he came up with…

🙅‍♂️ No girl colors! (Ps - there’s no such thing right now)
👨🏽‍🚀 NASA graphic tees are amaze
☀️ “Summer Crew” shirt is a win
⚽️ All soccer hats are welcome
🦈 Sharks, always

He sold his little heart out with the kids (which I did not ask him to do) and made a friend, so of course shared a “celly” to commemorate the day.

There were several:
🐒 “When is dad coming to pick me up?”
🐒“Mom, when are you getting customers?”
🐒 “I’m gunna go enjoy some fresh air.”
😳 “Hey you! Come to Bossy Beans” *shouting outside*
🐒“I’m soooo hungry”
🐒“Hey, can I have this coke?” *rifling through the cash wrap*
🐒 “I know where your cokes are.”
🐒 “I’m so bored; I’m running home!” (We live 3 miles away. He returned 2 minutes later.)
🐒 “Hi. Can I have your phone?”
🐒 “Mom, I don’t even want your phone.”

Needless to say, summer is in full swing, and your kiddos are ALWAYS welcome in the shop. And YES, they can touch things!

Last bit - later start and shorter hours today. Miss Brooke will be minding the shop. ♥️ See you soon! ✌🏼

🌊 Introducing the newest Bossy Bean - Beau. He passes his time listening to West Coast ocean waves, with the sun on his back, cradled by his gorgeous blonde-haired mama. ☀️ (You got this, mama!)

🤷🏻‍♀️ He doesn’t even seem to mind the toddler shenanigans going on in his presence.

Happy Father’s Day to the baddie daddies who make our worlds go around - the diaper changers, the ones who make you laugh, who play with the kids when they’re supposed to be putting them to sleep, the ones who work hard everyday to make sure you have what you need, who show you how to fix things or teach you how to share your feelings.

We see you dads - the good ones, the kind ones, the keepers. Thanks for showing us how to live.
