Mer's Fabrications A Journey Through Grief When my mother (and best friend) passed, I lovingly took her clothes and redefined them into something new.

As part of my healing process, I created handbags of all sorts, hat & mittens from Mom's favorite sweater and a memory quilt for a special grandchild. Ultimately, this process in a re-connection with what has been separated from us and provides peace and comfort.

Hat & Mitts are from my sweet Mom's well-worn sweater. Red plaid hat & bag is from Dad's wool hunting vest. Quilt is from my lovely Mom's blouses & night gowns. Handbags are from my dearly departed Mom's church pant suit. Apron from flannel. Pillow from Auntie's blouse. Next three photo's of aprons from loved-one's flannel shirts. Three memory quilts from loved-one's clothing. Last two memory quilts from baby blankets.
