Is anyone reading this a Southern California PALEONTOLOGIST, GEOLOGIST, MINERALOGIST, or GEMOLOGIST or retired from those fields? Or do you know someone who is?

I'm looking for someone who might present a program at our JUNE 1 Social Butterfly Brunch, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Metro Event Center in downtown Pomona. Vintage Vibes plans to bring out some of our rocks, minerals, fossils and stone/gem-based jewelry procured at auctions and estate sales. These items will be offered for sale, as well as some "curiosity cabinets," a mixture of these items in small chests or cabinets. We've never put these items for sale before. Mark your calendars. We'll also be offering some toys, cars, license plates, barware, tobacciana, etc. at this event.

In honor of MOTHER'S and FATHER'S DAY, we'll also be celebrating PARENTS, so bring your children, or bring your parents. We'll have prizes for the most look-alike parent (or grandparent) and child team. Like my Mom and I twinning in the photo here. Different years, different states--we had the same inclination to try on a red cowgirl hat, me at a store in Nashville, Tennessee, and Mom at a shop in Idyllwild.

I hope those of you who've been my customers or have expressed an interest in Vintage Vibes or the Social Butterflies events will accept mine and Larry's invitation to a garden party at our home in Lincoln Park, Pomona. This is a private, invitation-only event, since there's a limit to what our yards will hold. Feel to bring a plus-one. An RSVP is required by April to attend; I will then send an email with our home address.

This spring weather has been nice! Crazy, but nice.

True. Shopping for craft supplies and actually using the craft supplies are two separate hobbies. By the way, I still have HUNDREDS OF SKEINS OF LUXURY YARN for sale. If anyone is interested, post below, and I'll arrange a sale date.
