It's Trail Tuesday! This week we're in Washington.

📍The trail we're highlighting today is Hurricane Hill in Olympic National Park. This is a 3-mile, out-and-back trail that is very easy to follow and features incredible views of the Olympic Mountains. From the 5757-ft peak you can even see Canada, Mt. Baker and Mt. Olympus on clear days.

📍The trail just reopened last summer after undergoing some improvements, including widening and paving the trail, but the steep incline still makes this a moderate hike. Be sure to stop and take in the views from one of the many benches along the way. You'll only need a few hours to complete this hike so it's great if you have other plans in Olympic National Park.

It's Trail Tuesday and this week we're in Washington!

📍The trail we're highlighting today is the Skyline Loop in Mt. Rainier National Park. This is a 5.5-mile loop hike (our favorite kind of hike) that features incredible views of Mt. Rainier and subalpine wildflowers. For the best views, hike clockwise—though you really can't go wrong on this trail.

📍This trail can still be covered in snow, even in the summer months, so be sure to check trail conditions before heading out. Also keep in mind that Mt. Rainier’s visitor centers are currently still closed so plan accordingly.
