We made this custom homecoming dress for our client River. She knew exactly what she wanted. She wanted authentic silk fabric in a classic silhouette, so that’s what we gave her. Working with a silk blend fabric is not beginner friendly you have to be skilled in knowing how to stabilize and use your fabric on a bias cut. Silk is very slippery but we managed to hand sew our hem and gave this simple dress an elevated look .
