Remember the days of walking into a shoe store and being warmly greeted, eventually by your first name, having your foot measured, and being able to speak with someone about what you may like to see be added to the inventory? Today, do you find yourself ordering multiple pairs from a website, fully intending to have to send some back? Shopping trends are changing, no doubt. But one thing has remained the same - people. People like to feel welcome and heard, be respected, and walk away from a shopping trip satisfied by both product and experience.

Enter District No. 43, where our mission is to create a personal experience for each customer and offer a great selection of footwear for men, women & children. Price points will vary and meet the budgets of the shoppers of Payless and Nordstrom, and all of the favorites in between. We will focus on seasonally appropriate casual, business, evening, flip flops and boots, athleisure, and uniform shoes for the littles.

We are excited to add another footwear shopping option to the Blue Water Area. Our goal is to complement the other brick and mortar stores throughout our region, and we believe that our competition isn’t Elite Feet in the Port to TJ Maxx, Kohls, and others in the Fort. Our largest competitors are online, and online is great until you are looking for the personal attention only our brick and mortars can provide. We believe that after your first experience in the District, you’ll be driven back to us time and again.
