Hooky Established July 2015. This is a page for sharing my printed clothing and accessories, under the brand name Hooky™ …clothing, accessories, collectibles.

The theme behind the name is like playing hooky from school or work, except in this case we love education and hard work and showing up for life, so it's more about playing hooky from belief structures, while playing with words, thoughts, images. I also love enjoying simple things that don't necessarily have to have any meaning at all

. Part of my inspiration for my logo is just pure ghoulish gratification but I'm also drawn to the folklore element of things like the Grim Reaper and the history of Hallow's Eve and the vintage Halloween companies who produced paper and plastic goods for kids to enjoy. I am forever inspired by the color schemes and printing of Halloween stuff, skateboards, gig posters, and rad stickers. But don't be surprised to see some real cozy cute stuff, like nature inspired pillow shapes for your couch or chair. Cheers to creating and having fun.
