I am a 26 year old disabled q***r woman who is an artist at heart. Due to my disabilities, I have decided to pursue full time crafting. My main items that I offer are crochet tops from sizes AA-DDD. I believe that crochet should be inclusive! That's why I've had all of my designs model tested for functionality up to a DDD. I also try to work with cotton and natural fibers to ensure the softness an

d quality of the item lasts. I am available for custom crochet projects as well as alterations to most available items. I will be offering flower barrettes by June! I will also be selling my sister's choker and sticker designs online as well as in person. I currently offer most of my stock in person at marketing events, but have an online selection that I try to keep updated.

Inclusive crochet is so important to me and a big part of why I started Quartz Crochet. Making tops of all sizes with different dimensions etc, with the help of my model testers, has been an amazing creative journey.

So, something happened. I was working on my families farm in Montana helping to cut the hay and had an accident with the heavy equipment. While we were using the sickle bar, there was a miscommunication while I was clearing the teeth. The bar was turned back on because she thought I was clear and I thought she had seen me step to clear it. We usually both say clear after and before the bar is turned back on but this time I did not say clear yet.

I went to grab a piece of hay clogging the teeth and watch the teeth come on so fast there was no way to pull back before it came on. Iā€™m lucky it did not get my thumb and my other fingers were curled, or I would have lost two more fingers.

Obviously this was traumatic and the finger amputation will cause a pause in my work until I can heal and undergo physical therapy.

So how can you support me? Well I still have lots of inventory in Artifact: Creative Recycle & Village Merchants in the PVillage Merchantsin person shopping and the rest of my stock is online! Online purchases are ready to go and international shipping is available with an extra customs fee.
