RE-introducing Polartec® Power Grid™! Now in stock in five new color variants (plus a few 🌈 left).
We honestly did not expect to love this fabric as much as we do, but once we got to wearing it for the last couple of months, we were sold.
Why we love it…?
LIGHTNESS WITH DURABILITY: This version of Power Grid™ comes in at about 125gsm, making it much lighter than most Microgrid and Power Grid materials. With more durability of Alpha and a similar lightness to Alpha 120, it makes for a great piece to take on outings where you know Alpha couldn’t hold up. That said, the warmth is very similar to Alpha 90.
STRETCH: With a small percentage of spandex included, this fabric has a lot of stretch, leaving behind any concerns of range of motion with its 4-way stretch.
GRID CONSTRUCTION: The interior features a striped grid pattern of raised fleece segments with open air channels in between. These channels reduce total fabric weight and bulk while increasing breathability and trapping body heat.
So if you’re looking for a lightweight layer for the fall and winter ahead, but not so concerned about going ULTRALIGHT, this might just be the fabric for you.
