“Animal Songs by Louise Sheldon takes its title and thematic inspiration from an 1980s children’s folk record Froggy Went A Courtin’ - Animal Songs and Activities by Trudie Richman. Utilizing a fluid watercolor monotype transfer technique, of which Sheldon has perfected, she creates surreal depictions of transforming objects, plants, and animals that create a unique language of her own”
