Okay I’ve made a few versions of this tie front shirt for myself and a few people agave expressed interest in them but before I go ahead and spend a bunch of time grading and testing my pattern in all the sizes I offer(this is made from a woven and therefor the garment is nonstretch and different from my typical stretchy garment patterning)

A little break from the sewing of it all to chat about some knitting instead because I’ve been on a sweater kick that started because friends are having tiny humans and so I wanted to knit some baby sweaters which became a hyper fixation for a little bit because they are so quick to knit up and so dang cute but also I’m a weirdo and refuse to use patterns so I make things up as I go and ended up making the wrong size a couple times so I just kept knitting more baby sweaters until the sizing ended up correct and then I was like wait a second I suddenly have all these ideas for myself too so behold some of the sweater knitting I’ve done in the last few months. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣🥰

New month means new charity to give back to and this month I’m choosing because of their excellent and highly necessary work(especially at this time) in uplifting trans individuals in the United States. They help navigate legal challenges for individuals and fight for legislation on the national scale, they offer peer support, ways for the entire family to get involved as well as recording the history of trans existence something that is oh so sorely needed at this moment in time. They are doing hard, necessary, beautiful work and I’m so happy to be able to donate towards the future they are working for! ❤️

May outfit round up 🎉 it was the slowest month business wise that I’ve had in I think 2 years?!? Which is arguably not good BUT I promise I’m not here with doom and gloom because despite that fact I actually had a really nice month personally. Things felt a little looser and less stuck(a feeling I’ve been experiencing a lot lately) and I made some new things for myself, knit a lot more than usual, actually got some small plans on the books for summer and my garden is looking great so those were all real great wins! I hope you had an okay May as well 😘

All these little bundles are items cut out and ready to be sewn. Which floral check do you like better? I’m starting to cut out things to sew for in person events over the summer and it’s so hard to decide what to prioritize but I can’t possibly sew everything I want to……so which do we think is cutest and most like to catch someone’s eye?!
